A direct sales business is driven by good marketing and good reputation. To run your direct sales business successfully you should have plenty of marketing media to utilize. Business cards should always be on hand.
With direct sales, there are usually two important roles you should be marketing. You should be marketing your products and your team. This means you should also have two types of business cards on hand at all times. One business card that advertises you as a sales person and lets potential customers know how to contact you and another business card that advertises you as a team leader and lets potential team members know how to contact you and learn more about your team.
There should not be a “one size fits all” business card for your direct sales business. Taking your business seriously is one of the most important keys to your success. Get cards made for your business that are good quality because sometimes the only thought that sticks into someone’s mind about you and your business is how professional your business card is. Glossy, good colors, and bold print will stand out in the mind of your customers.
Always give your card out after you speak with someone, anyone. Get those cards out and let people remember you and your business when they see that card. If someone asks for directions or a phone number or a name, write it down on your business card and give it to them. It is a great way to spread your marketing material and business cards are cheap… even high quality and professional ones.
